Massaged Kale Salad
Ingredients
- 1 leaves bunch kale stems removed andtorn into 2-inch pieces, about 7 leaves
- 1 garlic clove chopped
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup cucumber chopped
- 1 avocado mashed
- 1/2 pound turkey slices antibiotic free
Instructions
- Assemble the salad: Add kale to a large mixing bowl along with garlic, olive oil, sea salt, and pepper. Using clean, bare hands, massage the kale with the mashed avocado until it is wilted (about 2 to 3 minutes).
- Once the kale is ready, top your salad with cucumber and turkey slices Add a dash of turmeric if desired.
- Toss and serve.
